POST SCRATCHES – FAST / FIRM

R6 – OC 62.5k N2X

#6 Day by Day (2-1) – Just missed at odds on versus similar group last month in a four horse race. She projects to sit right behind the pace setters and Saez will be ready to pounce.
#5 Liza Star (9-5) – Speedy filly for Palolucci takes a slight cut back and could be the one to catch in the late stages. She figures to appreciate the drop in class as well. Vasquez must avoid a speed duel.
#7 Flat Awesome Jenny (9-2) – Looking to make it three victories in a row and no one is hotter than Paco Lopez at this time. There is enough speed lined up to setup it out nicely for her patented closing kick.
#4 Blazen Betsy (12-1) – Speightstown mare is coming off the bench (30%) after trying Grade-3 company and could end up getting a favorable trip for a barn that’s currently clicking at the current moment.

PK5 – 4 5 6 7 / 2 7 8 / 2 6 / 4 6 / 4 7 11 = $72

Tri Key – 6 / 1 4 5 7

R7 – Clm 16k (Turf 8F)

#8 Keepsakekitten (9-5) – Drops off a win at Tampa at the end of January and Saffie Joseph is high % with all the angles. Saez will seek some type of stalk and pounce trip from an outer post.
#2 Verdict Is In (5-2) – Fought to the end, but was second best against slightly higher caliber runners. Paco shouldn’t have the gelding too far from the leaders before trying to get first run.
#7 Allgorilla (4-1) – Broke maiden nicely on New Year’s Day and was put in races over his head in last three. The drop to maiden claimers might wake him up. (1 for 43 Silvia Zapico) will most likely send.
#9 Earthquake (8-1)

PK4 – 2 7 8 9 / 2 4 6 / 4 6 / 4 7 11 = $36

Ex Box – 2 7 8

R8 – OC 100k B

#6 Hide the Demon (15-1) – Comes in from Tampa and Paco could send.
#2 Fast Pass (5-2) – Big closer
#4 Dak Attack (3-1) – Eligible to rebound.
#7 Whyruawesome (7-2) – Currently in good form.

Ex Box – 2 4 6

R9 – OC 25k N1X (12F)

#4 Surf and Turf (8-1) – Lightly raced and bred to handle to marathon trip for John Servis.
#6 Vegas Kitten (7-2) – Claimed back by Maker will look to be the controlling speed with Paco.
#8 Indian Counselor (8-1) – Coming off upset maiden score last month and seems to have the right style to handle this trip.

Tri P/W – 4 6 / 4 6 / All

R10 – Md Clm 40k (Turf 8F)

#7 Venezuelan Hug (6-1) – Drop helps after solid debut.
#11 Metcalf (20-1) – Chance to light up the tote board for Guiterrez on the drop and stretch out on the grass.
#4 Mandate (8-5) – Pletcher MSW to Md Clm 38%.
#10 Healy’s Hope (10-1) – Linda Rice takes over for Pletcher and the stretch out on the turf could help.

Ex Box – 7 / 4 10 11
