Gulfstream Park

POST SCRATCHES – FAST / FIRM

R5 – G3 Rampart

#1 Curlin’s Approval (8-5) – She’s a different animal at GP. Stalking trip.
#3 Lewis Bay (7-2) – Brings some serious back back, but the year layoff is a slight concern.
#2 Lirica (20-1) – Consistent sort is coming off a win and will add value underneath.
#7 Gamble’s Ghost (12-1) – Has been on a roll North of the Border, but must prove it on dirt.

R6 – MSW 48k

#3 Navistar (7-5) – Lost to a nice runner (Mask by Tapit) from the Brown barn and should be tighter in 2nd start.
#6 Shanghai Schwartz (15-1) – Given a freshening after debut here in July and that last bullet could have him ready.
#10 Locomotion (5-1) – Again draws the outside, but the stretchout to a mile should help his chances.
#5 Personal Time (15-1) – Working well for Shug for 2nd start and could turn it around at a juicy price.

Tri Key – 3 / All / 6 10
Ex – All / 3

R7 – G3 Sugar Swirl

#1 Dearest (6-5) – Expecting Zayas to hold his position on the rail as there a bunch of speed lined up. Loves this surface.
#7 Pretty Perfection (9-2) – She looks like the one that would benefit the most from a pace meltdown. Late rally.
#8 Rich Mommy (12-1) – Has the ability to keep in touch with the speed and finish with a good trip.

PK3 – 1 3 / 3 5 6 10 / 1 7 8 = $12 for $.50 (Punch a couple of times)

R8 – G3 My Charmer (Turf 8F)

#5 On Leave (7-5) – G2 winner seems to always bring it and this is the preferred distance.
#9 Defiant Honor (10-1) – Has won twice off a break and reunites with Johnny V. Big shot at a price.
#4 Josdesanimaux (12-1) – Absolutely loves Gulfstream, but has she lost a step.
#7 Stormy Victoria (Fr) (7-2) – She’s solid, but might be better at one turn Turf races.

R9 – G3 Harlan’s Holiday

#4 Conquest Big E (15-1) – Looks like the lone speed and could prove tough to reel in with the 1st finish line in play.
#3 Destin (5-2) – Brings a class edge, but Johnny V must stay after him to keep him forwardly placed throughout.
#7 Fear the Cowboy (7-2) – Has shown an affinity for this surface and has had a solid year. Contender.
#2 Mr. Jordan (4-1) – A complete monster across town, but is looking for 1st win at Gulfstream in 9th start.

R10 – G3 Tropical Turf (Turf 8F)

#1 Tower of Texas (6-1) – BEST BET – The inside draw makes a huge difference in his chances and could prove tremendous value.
#7 Blacktype (Fr) (2-1) – Logical contender took down G2 earlier this fall in NY, but no cinch here.
#2 Camelot Kitten (9-2) – It will take I Ortiz’s best, because the mile distance seems a bit short for his style.
#6 Galton (10-1) – Definitely in good form, but must step it up to the next level to compete in this field.

R11 – MSW 48k (Turf 8.5F)

#6 Armchair Jockey (15-1) – Expecting Maker/Saez combo to make the difference in wide open turf event.
#2 Forgotten Coast (8-1) – Gets an advantageous post today for return to the turf. Saves ground and comes late.
#11 Dr. Bombay (9-2) – Not crazy about the draw, but working lights out for strong Casse barn.
#9 Hyndford (7-2) – Donega Homebred makes debut for Pletcher barn. 43% for the meet.

Rainbow 6 – 3 / 1 7 / 5 9 / 3 4 7 / 1 2 7 / 2 6 7 9 11 = $36 for $.20
