Churchill Downs

R7 – MSW 60k (Turf 8F)

#5 Cloak of Secrecy (10-1) – Walsh/Leparoux high % and son a Scat Daddy draws well for debut.
#11 Alert Kitten (5-1) – 9 furlongs proved to be too long in most recent and fits on the cut back with Lanerie hopping aboard.
#2 America’s Tale (5-2) – Has experience edge on these and returns to the lawn, which she’s had two solid efforts on.
#6 Golden Rose (12-1) – Daughter of More Than Ready should take to the turf and offers value for Geroux/Catalano combination.

R8 – Clm 30k N2L

#3 Chargin Storm (6-1) – Missed by a length at this level 2 back and looks to get a nice stalking trip.
#2 Nicky Numbers (10-1) – Barn having a strong meet and could take advantage of his speed.
#9 Fulkerson (10-1) – Gets some class relief and expect him in the mix early.
#7 Diamond Jim (3-1) – Has some back races that would dominate this affair, but only one published work from his last race 8/6/17.

R9 – OC 62k/N2X

#2 Shut the Box (12-1) – The turnback angle is strong back to 6.5 furlongs and this gelding has enough speed to stay in touch throughout.
#1 Jazzy Times (5-1) – Freshened up and gelded since last seen in May and shows a nice string of works since late September.
#4 Blame Will (15-1) – It’s been almost a year off, but displayed some talent as a 2yr old and now Asmussen takes over.
#10 Excitations (7-2) – Makes important 3rd start off a break and has back numbers to take this event.

R10 – MSW 60k

#2 Cove Blue (9-2) – Stretched out to a route in start #2 and was only beaten 1/2 length, this one turn mile should fit him perfectly.
#7 Sourdough (5-2) – Couldn’t hold off the winner as the chalk, but draws well for a barn that does better with experience.
#11 Vanquish (12-1) – This race has the look that a highly touted firster breaks through and this one is well meant from top connections.
#3 Dreaming of Jo Jo (6-1) – Turf to dirt for regally bred colt and gets an advantageous post.

PK4 – 2 5 6 9 11 / 2 3 7 9 10 / 1 2 4 10 / 2 = $50 for $.50
