KEENELAND

POST-SCRATCHES

6th: ALW/N1X, 4+, 9f-T (P5, P3, DD)

Interesting mix including return of enigmatic Tap It Rich, now with Attfield. For the most part, the obvious lightly raced players look best (Araqeel, Bokeelia Island, etc.), but Cali board hit veteran 8-1 Dylan Ward has to be used to boost exotics..

Most Likely: #6 Araqeel 5-1
Next Best: #4 Bokeelia Island 4-1
Best Value: #2 Dylan Ward 8-1
Exotics Use: #5 Animal Instinct 7-2

7th: MSW, 3yo-F, 7f (P4, P3, DD)

Best Value: #1 (POE) Realistic 6-1: Half to American Lion; Entrymate OK too..
Next Best: #6 Annathela 4-1: Arnold primed for KEE; Sneaky good debut..
Exotics Use: #10 Conquest Serenade 3-1: Chased Go Maggie Go in bow..
Super Add: #2 Walkabout 10-1: Wilkes’ Stroll filly good in lone st. at 2..

8th: ALW/N1X, 3yo-F, 7f (P3, DD)

Entire field separated by about 4 lengths on paper and honest to fast pace should make it open to any on their best. Saw Lough Ness surprise in the flesh on Risen Star Day. Jimmy Baker perhaps the most under-appreciated trainer in the country and likely had this spot circled on calendar days later..

Best Value: #5 Lough Ness 10-1
Next Best: #8 Limitless 4-1
Exotics Use: #6 Sugar Cone 7-2
Super Add: #7 Lady Day Blue 9-2

9th: 28th Transylvania (G3), 3yo, 8.5f-T (DD)

Next layer of 3yo turf stakes for boys starts here and bodes well for the division. Really fun set and while Chad Brown pair the focal point, none would shock a winner..

Most Likely: #8 Catapult 3-1
Best Value: #5 J R’s Holiday 6-1
Next Best: #7 Converge 5-2
Exotics Use: #1 Inspector Lynley 3-1

10th: CLM, 4+, 6.5f (Super Hi-5)

Most Likely: #1 Union Label 2-1
Best Value: #11 Magical Moment 8-1
Next Best: #10 Fleet Gold Digger 5-2
Exotics Use: #6 Jaz N Tap 15-1
Super Add: #2 Not an Illusion 20-1
