After having all my Hurricane Irma preparations completed, I decided to post my selections as it could be a while before I restore power. To all Floridians, Stay Safe my Friends. Very nice cards at Kentucky Downs and Arlington Park.

Kentucky Downs

#5 Miss Temple City (1-1) – Multiple G1 winner will be a handful on 3rd start of the year and cuts back to her optimum mile distance.
#4 Zipessa (7-2) – Hard knocking Graded experience mare likes the mile trip, but would have to bring her career best.
#2 Linda (5-1) – Never worse than 4th in 12 career starts, so obviously a player underneath.
#7 Susie Bee (8-1) – She can produce a late kick and make her presence felt late.

R8 – Kentucky Down Ladies Sprint (Turf 6.5F)

#10 Happy Mesa (15-1) – Gaffalione has figured out this tricky Turf course out quickly and she should benefit on the cut back.
#2 Fair Point (7-2) – This distance might hit her square between the eyes and hard to go wrong with J Ortiz/Shug.
#6 Morticia (9-2) – Well traveled filly is a winning machine and 6.5F is within the scope.
#5 Lull (5-1) – She’s versatile enough that BJ will have options of where to position her througout.

R9 – G3 Kentucky Downs Turf Sprint (Turf 6.5F)

#1 Commend (4-1) – Coming off a sharp win from the rail and he keeps getting better. J Ortiz/Mott.

#6 Zulu Alpha (30-1) – Has figured things out and no reason to think he won’t stay the trip with his distance influence pedigree.
#1 Postulation (9-2) – It’s been proven that he likes the marathon trip and if he’s able to control the pace. Goodnight.
#4 Oscar Nominated (7-2) – Brings some serious back class to this event and makes important 3rd start off a break.
#7 Enterprising (3-1) – Extremely respectable effort when finishing 4th in the G1 Arlington Million, Must use in Multis.

Arlington Park

R7 – Arlington-Washington Futurity 75k

#1 Our Thomas (30-1) – Reavis is a sharp tack and I have a hunch this one can really run.
#5 Soul of Discretion (3-1) – Hard to ignore that huge fig in debut at Canterbury. Notorious strong barn.
#7 Barry Lee (5-2) – Nightmare trip as the chalk in Saratoga Special and looks to rebound. Needs clean break.
#10 The X (6-1) – Finished with a flurry in turf debut and that translate well to the poly.

R8 – Arlington-Washington Lassie 75k

#12 Her Wild Lifestyle (10-1) – Didn’t disappoint in debut at odds on and comes in fresh for the scorching hot Rivelli barn.
#2 Ardor (10-1) – Already proven on a synthetic surface and some swift local works for this.
#4 Richie’slilwildcat ((5-1) – Both rider and filly learned their lesson in start #2 after thinking it was over in debut.
#9 Saucy At Midnight (8-1) – Made up some serious ground with good set up going 4.5F in debut.

R9 – MSW 28k

#9 Turbo Shaft (4-1) – Has come up short versus some nice fillles and has found a group she can beat.
#11 Pinot (6-1) – Shows some nice works at Keeneland for high % debut Gorder barn.
#4 Strollin the Bayou (3-1) – Gave it her all when 2nd in debut and earned a high fig in the process.
#12 Speed Devil (7-2) – Displayed speed at 1st asking and should be tigher today. 1st time Lasix.

R10 – Clm 10k N2L (Turf 8F)

#2 Consequential (8-1) – BEST BET – Fits well at this level and is drawn beautifully.
#5 Alsinaafy (Ire) (3-1) – Should be tough on the drop.
#7 Find Silver (5-1) – Could get brave without pace pressure.
#1 Summer Spice (7-2 ) – Shipper fits on numbers.

PK4 – 1 4 5 7 10 / 2 4 9 10 12 13 / 9 11 / 1 2 5 7 = $60 for $.50
